About Mary’s Little Lambs

We are a small group of individuals who rescue stray dogs & cats from the streets of Los Angeles or bail them out of “death row” at the city shelters in order to find them good and loving homes. We provide veterinary care, such as vaccinations and spay/neutering, as well as foster homes until a forever home is found. We hope to provide all animals, large and small, with what they cannot provide for themselves.

And yep, Mary is an actual person! She started our group and you can meet her at most of our events. All her little lambs are special to her and she makes sure they each get the care they need.

If you’re interested in adopting a pet or being a foster family, please check out our “How to Adopt” page! If you want to attend or volunteer at one of our adoption events, please see our calendar.

Thanks for stopping by!

  1. Hi! We adopted a Pinscher mix 9 years ago, at the time his name was Ikey, which we edited to Mikey. He was our “firstborn” baby, and we loved him so. Two weeks ago we had to put Mikey to sleep, because the pain je had to endure was too much. It’s left a hole in all our hearts. I was wondering if you have any archived pictures of him? We putting together a collection ☺️

Thank you so much in advance!

    Blessings!

    Dear Mary’s little lambs,
I adopted my beautiful, black baby girl chihuahua in 2010. At the time she was called Cookie and we loved her so very much. She had a great life. Until she developed heart disease about a year ago and passed away last night. I am totally heartbroken but thankful to Mary for her rescue and for helping me find the puppy love of my life.
Deepest thanks for all you do,
    Renee Vincent
